Betty V. Drexler, age 88 of Oshkosh, passed away on September 16, 2015, at her home. She was born on January 10, 1927, in Cardiff, South Wales, Great Britain, a daughter of the late George and Elizabeth White. She married Frank A. Drexler on March 23, 1945, in St. Francis Catholic Church, South Wales, UK. Mrs. Drexler was a lifelong member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Oshkosh. Mom's greatest pleasure was spending time with her own little colony in America and Wales. She had a tremendous sense of dignity that was exhibited at all times. Mom was a beautiful, compassionate, loyal, supportive, and unyieldingly faithful woman. She prepared delicious Welsh meals among others and ensured no one ever left the house hungry! Her interests included reading, writing poems, knitting, sewing, embroidery, crossword puzzles and she was a great storyteller.

She is survived by and her memory will be cherished by her children, Margaret (Jerry) Beck, Irene (Randy) Walter, Roseann (Terry) Raupp, Michael Drexler, Kevin (Kathy) Drexler, Marie (Scott) Metz and Joseph Drexler; grandchildren, Christie, Ryan, Tricia, Nathan, Megan, Justin, Jason, Nicholas, Jeremy, Jordan and Jessica; great-grandchildren, Justine, Alex, Macie, MaKenzie, Sophia, Leila, Cooper, Paige, Brynn and Penelope. Mrs. Drexler was preceded in death by her husband, Frank in 1985; her parents; brothers, George, John and Desmond White; infant twin sisters; a granddaughter, Shana Beck-Stinski.

A visitation for family and friends will be held on Saturday, September 19, 2015, at St. Jude Parish, Sacred Heart Catholic Church, corner of Knapp and 6th Streets in Oshkosh from 8:30 a.m. until the time of the Mass of Resurrection at 10:30 a.m. Burial will follow in Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery. The family would like to thank all of those involved in her care; Father Matt Simonar, Heartland Hospice, especially Christine, Ruth, Paula and Ann. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to the:
