PITTSFIELD -- Amy B. Phelps, 89, of 375 Tyler St. died Friday evening, Oct. 31, at Berkshire Medical Center.
Born in Bennington, Vt., on July 29, 1914, daughter of Chafe and Amy Bell Bagley, she was a resident of Pittsfield most of her life and attended local schools.
She had been employed as a camp counselor at Wahconah Camp for many years.
She was a member of the Pittsfield Senior Center.
She was predeceased by her husband, Dana Phelps.
She leaves three sons, Stanley Phelps of Augusta, Ga., Woodrow Vickery and Harold Vickery, both of Pittsfield; a sister, Eunice Warner of Bennington; 13 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. Two granddaughters, Tanya Phelps and Candy Phelps Jezewski, were her primary caregivers.

FUNERAL NOTICE -- Amy B. Phelps died in Pittsfield on Friday, Oct. 31, 2003. Funeral services will be Tuesday, Nov. 4, at 11 from DWYER FUNERAL HOME with the Rev. Jeff Black officiating. Burial will follow in St. Joseph's Cemetery. Calling hours will be Monday, Nov. 3, from 4 to 7 at the funeral home. If friends desire, donations may be made to the funeral home to defray expenses.
