The son of Nathaniel and Eunice (Lakin) Parker.

He is the only "I" Parker in Groton.

The date on the tomb is 1822, this would reflect when the tomb was built, not when the residents died. Tombs were a status symbol and a nice cool place to have lunch on a hot day.

The marker in front is a Revolutionary War veteran marker.
