Mitchell Leroy Jackson, 59 of St George GA, went home to be with the Lord on August 20, 2015.

He was born on March 9, 1956 in Palatka FL to Herbert And Betty Jackson. He loved spending time with his family especially his grandchildren and momma. Mitchell was an avid FSU fan “GO NOLES”.

Mitchell was preceded in death by his wife; Teresa Jackson, father; Herbert Jackson and brother; Tony Jackson. He is survived by his mother; Betty Jackson, daughters; Leslie (Ricky) Jones and Kristen (Wesley) Drury, sisters; Tammy (Scott) Hemmingway, Diane (Buddy) Crews and Debby (Robert) Lloyd, brother; Stephen Jackson, 4 grandchildren, 4 nieces and 9 nephews.

Visitation will be held in the Nassau Funeral Home Chapel on Sunday, August 23, 2015 from 12-1 pm, services begin at 1 pm with Rev Marshall Vaughn, Rev. Donald Vaughn and Rev. Ronnie Surrency officiating, interment will follow in Mill Creek Cemetery.
