Daughter of Bernard Clinton and Mary McKeogh. Born at Mattie Settlement in Guysborough Co. Nova Scotia. Arrived in the U.S. March 1912 and was Naturalized 1915. Worked in a shoe factory until she became the first wife of Laroy Gordon Arrington. They married in 1916, Salem, MA. Alice was a long term resident of North Salem, and was a parishioner of St. Thomas Catholic Church of Peabody, MA. She was the mother of Mary Eleanor (Arrington) Briggs, George Hancock Arrington II, and Gordon Clinton Arrington who died shortly after birth. Alice died of cancer.
