James Wilburn "Bud" Henderson, 87, of Heiskell, Tennessee, passed away on Monday, September 21, 2015, at the Physicians Regional Medical Center, Knoxville, Tennessee.

He was born on September 4, 1928, in Edmondson County, Kentucky, the son of Robert Wales Henderson and Edna Pearl Estes.

James was a member of College Heights United Methodist Church in Elizabethtown, Kentucky.

He enjoyed working on cars and spending time with family and friends.

In addition to his parents, James is preceded in death by brothers: Kenneth Henderson, and Robert Henderson Jr., and sisters: Judy Smith, and Sarah Margaret Henderson.

He is survived by his wife, Margie Drane Henderson, of Heiskell, his sons, Dave Henderson, and wife Cecilia, of Heiskell, Terry Henderson, of Heiskell, his sisters, Frankie Fowler, of Louisville, Kentucky, Jean Powell and husband Gary, of Elizabethtown, Kentucky, Gale Stivers and husband Carroll, of Louisville, Kentucky, Peggy Morehead, of Elizabethtown, Kentucky, and grandson, David Henderson, of Heiskell; several Nieces, Nephews, and a host of other cherished, and dear relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. Thursday, September 24, 2015, at Hatmaker Funeral Home. Funeral Service will be held at 7 p.m. Thursday, September 24, 2015, in the Hatmaker Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Mark Hicks officiating. Family and Friends will meet for graveside services at 1 p.m. Friday, September 25, 2015, with interment in Elizabethtown Memorial Gardens, Elizabethtown, Kentucky.
