MERILYN MARIE FLEMING November 20, 1929 - April 12, 2022 Merilyn Marie Gregory was born November 20, 1929, in San Bernardino, to parents, Issac Merritt Gregory and Gladys Bromilow Gregory. She was adopted at approximately age 7 by Carl William Dunker. Merilyn was raised and spoiled by her parents Carl and Gladys in the San Bernardino area. Upon graduation from S.B. High School, (Go Cardinals), she married Robert Howard Fleming in 1950. Merilyn worked in the banking industry for over 30 years. Merilyn was blessed with two children, Christopher Scott and Karen Denise (Deceased). She retired from banking to raise her grandson, David Eugene Wood. Merilyn enjoyed retirement until 2018, when she was diagnosed with Dementia. She resided near her granddaughter Meagan in Laguna Niguel, Ca., until her recent passing. Merilyn is survived by her son, Christopher, granddaughter Meagan (Peter) Perez, grandson, David Wood, grandchild Jonathan (Kassy) Gautschi and great grand-children Evelyn (Meagan's) and Skylar and Joshua (Jonathan's). Merilyn will be missed for her quick wit, debate attitude and long memory of everything in the past.
Family and friends are invited to a graveside service to honor and share her life into passing on Thursday, May 12, 2022 at 10:00am., at Mountain View Cemetery located at 570 E. Highland Ave., San Bernardino, Ca. 92404. Location is to the rear of the cemetery in the Iris section. Casual attire is requested
