residence keizer karelstraat gent/Voordriesstraat 13 Oosterzele (secondary residence Pieter) De Vigne was son of the decoration painter Ignacio De Vigne (1767-1849). He grew up in Ghent, where also his brother Félix De Vigne (1806-1862) lived. The Vigne married Malvina Quyo and called himself since then also De Vigne-Quyo. Their son Paul De Vigne was like his father a sculptor, daughters Emma, Louise and Malvina were painters.
