She was a graduate of Rainelle High School in West Virginia and attended one year of business school in California. She was a former clerk for the Symmes Valley School District and an employee for the Foodfair Grocery Store in South Point. She was a member of the Chesapeake Nazarene Church and was active in the missionary society at church.
She was also preceded in death by
her first husband, Donald Lee Pitsenbarger Sr., who passed away in 1974;
her second husband, Maxwell D. Jordan, who passed away in 2007;
a daughter, Carolyn Sue Walls;
three brothers, Cecil Conley, Orville Conley and B.W. Conley;
a sister, Trudy Privit Simms.
She is survived by
two sons, Donald Lee "Buddy" Pitsenbarger of South Point, OH and Michael Keith and Kathy Fields Pitsenbarger of Coal Grove, OH;
a daughter, Joann Gearhart of South Point, OH;
a brother, John (Diana) Conley II of South Point, OH;
a sister, Katherine Standish of Nitro, WV;
twelve grandchildren, twenty one great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.
