Sherry K. Fish 59 of Lake Viking passed away Thursday September 17, 2015 at her home. Memorial services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday September 26, 2015 at the Gilliam Baptist Church in Gilliam MO. Inurnment will be at Frankford Cemetery at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society. Cremation completed by McWilliams Funeral Home in Gallatin.

Sherry was born January 31, 1956 the daughter of William and Betty Jo (Williams) Boston in Marshall, MO and attended schools in the Kansas City area. Sherry was united in marriage to Richard Fish October 1, 1982 in Kansas City. The couple made their home in Edgerton, MO where they resided for 30 years. Sherry was an over the road truck driver with Richard, taking loads all over the United States. She enjoyed the time she was able to work with Richard and saw many sights on their travels; she trucked for 10 years. Richard and Sherry moved to Lake Viking in 2007 to enjoy country living and lake life.

Sherry loved to fish and was always prepared to care for the animals, you could find her feeding the deer, birds and any other furry friend in need; she was truly an advocate. She liked to garden in her spare time. She never made snap decisions and always thought things through. Her family was her pride and joy, specially her grandchildren. She was at her best when she was around her family. Sherry was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister who will be greatly missed and never forgotten.

Sherry was preceded in death by her parents.

Sherry is survived by her loving husband of 32 years Richard of the home, sons, Rodney Leipard and wife Tonya of Edgerton, MO, Silas Leipard and wife Grace of Las Vegas, NV, daughters, Tammy Sampson of Kansas City and Jennifer McCollum and husband Jerry of Kansas City, brothers, Christopher Boston of Gilliam MO and Kelly Boston of Orlando, FL. Sherry has 12 grandchildren.
