Marie J. Vickers 1927 - 2015 Plainfield - Marie J. Vickers, 88, of Plainfield, beloved wife of the late John W. Vickers, entered into eternal rest September 20, 2015. She was born August 16, 1927 in Plainfield a daughter of the late Henry and Obelina (Varieur) Beausoleil. Mrs. Vickers had lived in Plainfield for many years, moving to Florida in 1985 and returning in 2008. She had been employed at American Optical in Southbridge, MA, retiring many years ago. She was a member of the American Legion Ladies Auxiliary. She leaves a son Robert Vickers and his fiancée Lisa Bradway of Brooklyn; 2 daughters Linda D. Green and her husband Fred of Canterbury and Bonny Viens of Mims, FL. Her grandchildren and their spouses, Kyle and Donna Green, Keith and MaryEllen Green, Jordan Viens, Jared and Marci Viens, Michael and Kerrie Walenta, Pamela Gauvin and Robert LeClair; great grandchildren, Brendan, Christopher, Cameron, Chloe, Ryan, Nathan, Ashley, Brittney, Jessie, Hayden and Logan. She was predeceased by a daughter in law Beverly (Paradis) Vickers and 2 brothers Norman and Henry Beausoleil. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday at 10:00AM in St. John the Apostle Church, Plainfield. Burial in St. John Cemetery. There are no calling hours.
