Naomi Stratton Wilson, 78, of McGehee, AR died Monday September 21, 2015.
She was born in Des Arc. AR a daughter of the late Boyd and Carrie Fisher Stratton. She was raised in the Kelso, AR area before getting married and moving to California. She returned to Arkansas in 1997. Naomi loved to cook, sew and make crafts. She loved her family, especially her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was a member of Kelso Baptist Church.
Other than her parents she was preceded in death by a son Kenneth Wilson and a sister Ruthie Bilbrey. Survivors include her husband of 60 years, Charles Wilson; sons Gary Alan Wilson and Randal Wilson of Little Rock, AR; daughters Donita Lambert of Lake Village, AR and Juanita Schlager of Grass Valley, CA and Heather Wilson of Cabot, AR; brothers W.L. Stratton of Jasper, TX, Ernest Stratton of Simi Valley, CA, Ray Stratton of Modesto, CA and Ricky Stratton of Hot Springs, AR; sister Linda Woods of Simi Valley, CA; six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be 6-7:30pm Thursday, September 24, 2015 at Griffin-Culpepper Funeral Service in McGehee, AR. Funeral Services will be held at 10:00am Friday, September, 25, 2015 at Kelso Baptist Church with Rev. Bob Courtney officiating. Burial will follow at the Wilson family cemetery. (Kelso Cemetery)
