Anthony Joe Black, age 63, of De Kalb, Texas passed away Saturday, September 5, 2015, at his residence. Joe was born August 27, 1952 in Annona, Texas to Grady Lee and Eulalia Sullivan Black.
He was a retired Mechanic from Red River Army Depot. He was preceded in death by his father, Grady Lee Black and a brother, Victor Lee Black.
He is survived by his wife: Judy Black of De Kalb, Texas; a daughter: Erin Michele Black of Genoa, Arkansas; a stepson and stepdaughter-in-law: Matt and Breanna Hill of Marion, Arkansas; his mother: Eulalia Mabel Black of Texarkana, Texas; seven grandchildren; and a number of other relatives and friends.
Services will be 2:00 PM Tuesday, September 8, 2015 at Bates Family Funeral Home in De Kalb, Texas, with Rev. Brian Peck officiating. Interment will follow at Woodmen Cemetery, De Kalb, Texas.
