Billie Jean Fletcher, 90, died September 21, 2015 at Salina Regional Medical Center, Salina. Born September 14, 1925 at Buffalo, Mo., she was the daughter of Harry and Mabel (Chase) Tway. Billie Jean married Lloyd M. Fletcher July 31, 1944 at Hays. He died November 29, 1986. She was a photographer for Selden I. Peugh Photography in Hoisington, and later was a bus driver for Claflin Schools. Mrs. Fletcher was a Salina resident, previously residing in Hoisington and Oregon.
She was a member of Hoisington Bible Church.
She was preceded in death by one brother, Clarence Tway, and two sisters, Mabel Singleton and Minnie Clark.
Graveside service will be Wednesday, September 23, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at Hoisington Cemetery. Officiant will be Pastor Gary Clark. Interment will be at Hoisington Cemetery.
