Per Pennsylvania Marriage License, on Nov 1 1897 in Franklin, Carson Benjamin Crisman of Third Ward, machinist, 21, son of Alex and Mary Crisman, married Mary Edna Cutshall of Franklin, domestic, 21, daughter of Thomas and Mary Cutshall; first marriage for both.

The Derrick, Friday, Aug 18 1972:
Carson Benjamin Crisman, 95, of 410 N. 3rd St., former resident if Franklin, died at 3:55 am Thursday in the Franklin Hospital. Born March 4, 1877 in Franklin, he was a son of Alec (Eleck?) and Mary Martin Crisman.

A number of years ago he worked in Franklin and Bradford, then for 10 years before retirement he worked as a machinist at the Oklahoma Iron Works, Tulsa, OK. He was a member of Christ United Methodist Church of Franklin.

He married Mary Edna Cutshall who died in February 1948.

Surviving are two sons, Edward of Phoenix, AZ, and Harry Crisman of Titusville; nine grandchildren and a number of great-grandchildren. Several sisters and brothers preceded him in death.

Services will be at Gordon B. Garrett Funeral Home with Rev. Earl Staples, pastor of the First Baptist Church of Titusville, officiating. Interment will be in Franklin Cemetery.
