Arthur B. Dixon Jr., 89, died Nov. 9, 2012, at the Treasure Coast Hospice, Hay-Madeira House in Stuart. He was born in Miami and lived in Palm City for 23 years, coming from his birthplace. He served in the Army Air Force during World War II. Before retiring, he had been a vice president and plant manager for a company that manufactured food service equipment in Miami. Survivors include his companion of 16 years, Patty Cheung of Palm City; son, Gregory A. Dixon of Palm City; daughter, Linda Dixon of Palm Beach; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Martha S. Dixon. Services: There will be a memorial service at 1:30 p.m. Nov. 21 at the Gazebo at the Treasure Coast Hospice.
