Rodney Wayne "Dog" Leonard, 37, passed away Sunday, April 30, 2000, at Wadley Hospital, Texarkana, Texas.


He was born Feb. 4, 1963, at De Queen, Ark.


He married Patricia Turner on Feb. 4, 1991.


Rodney was a self-employed carpenter and was affiliated with Eagletown Methodist Church. He enjoyed hunting and fishing, and had lived in the Eagletown community all of his life.


He leaves to cherish his memory his wife, Trish Leonard; one son, Clancy Leonard; one daughter, Terri Leonard; his father and mother, Edward and Janice Leonard, all of Eagletown; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Russel and Tessie Leonard, Eagletown, and Shane and Charlotte Leonard, Broken Bow; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Gail and Bruce Hopson, and Christie and Gary Branson, all of Eagletown; and a host of aunts, uncles, nephews, nieces, cousins and friends.


Graveside services were at 4 p.m. today, May 2, at Eagletown Cemetery with Cy Davis officiating.
