Kenneth F. “Moe” Love, 86, of Polo, MO died Saturday, September 19, 2015 at his home. Moe was born on May 4, 1929 in Richmond, MO to Arthur and Bertha (Spurbeck) Love. He married Deana P. Holder of Polo on April 25, 1998. She survives of the home. Additional survivors include one son, Randy H. Love of Kansas City, MO; one daughter, Celeste Love of Lathrop, MO; one brother, J.D. Love and his wife, Norma of Montana; one sister, Deloris Rogers of Richmond; 9 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; 15 step-grandchildren; five step-sons, Norman Good of Clinton, MO, David Good and his wife, Donna of Chillicothe, MO, Chris Good and his wife, Becky of Clinton, MO, Eric Barger of Excelsior Springs, MO and Ed Barger and his wife, Kathy of Kearney, MO; two step-daughters, Suzie Clayton and her husband, Robert of Douglasville, GA and Marie Cobb and her husband, Jerry of Polo. In addition to his parents, Moe was preceded in death by three brothers, DeWayne Love, Arthur E. Love and Donald Love; and three sisters, Joyce Hartman, Wanda Love, Dorothy Bice and Helen Chapman. Moe was a United States Army Veteran of the Korean War, where he received a purple heart. He was one of the last of the Frozen Chosin. Moe was a custom butcher for Oscar-Williams in Richmond. He also worked at the Polo locker and Higginsville locker for several years. He was of the Christian faith. He lived in Richmond most of his life. Moe loved to hunt, garden and fish the Missouri river.
