William David Nesbit, a native and resident of Baton Rouge. Bill passed away Saturday, November 8, 2014 at The Crossing at Clarity Hospice. Survived by his wife, Carla Russell Nesbit; two daughters and son-in-laws, Dr. Lisa Nesbit Bostick and Bill Bostick and grandchildren Kathryn Bostick and Robert Bostick, Jan Nesbit Bogan and Dan Bogan and grandchildren Daniel Bogan and Laura Bogan; three sons and daughters-in-law, David Nesbit and Jackie Nesbit and grandchildren Jennifer Nesbit and Julia Nesbit, Kevin Nesbit and Sandy Nesbit and grandchildren Blake McNiece and Sgt. Alex Nesbit and Keith Nesbit and grandchild Amy Nesbit; sister, Mary Claire Nesbit Lacour and brother, Richard Nesbit. Preceded in death by his parents, Grover and Alice Nesbit, brothers, Jack Nesbit, Eustis Nesbit, Boots Nesbit and George Nesbit; three sisters, Carmelitte Daigle, Betty Boudreaux, Rose Dorian. Pallbearers will be sons, grandsons and Fred Belcher, Mike Leopold, Mark Smith, Travis Telhiard and Grant Telhiard. Bill was a CPA and owned William David Nesbit, CPA firm. He was a proud Catholic High School Bear class of 1953 and a graduate of LSU and was a member of Beta Alpha Psi Fraternity. Bill was loved by many friends and family and will be dearly missed. Visitation will be at Rabenhorst Funeral Home, 825 Government St., Monday, November 10, 2014, 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Visiting resumes Tuesday 10:00 a.m. until religious services at 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home chapel. Services will be conducted by Fr. Clifton Hill. Interment will follow in Roselawn Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Catholic High School, 855 Hearthstone Dr., Baton Rouge, LA 70806.
