Phyllis Finazzo, age 84 Cold Spring November 22, 1925 – October 26, 2010 Mass of Christian Burial will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday, October 30, 2010 at St. Boniface Catholic Church in Cold Spring, MN for Phyllis Finazzo, age 84, who died Tuesday at the St. Cloud Hospital. Inurnment will be at a later date. Visitation will be from 11:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. Saturday at the Wenner Funeral Home in Cold Spring.

Phyllis was born in Hallock, MN to Ole and Jessie (Thotland) Becken. She married Benedict Finazzo on December 11, 1948 in Minneapolis. Phyllis enjoyed playing the piano and organ in various churches and was an avid sports fan. She loved to laugh and play cards and will always be remembered as a cheerful person. She was a member of St. Boniface Parish.

Survivors include her husband, Ben; children, Joan Leonard (Arleigh Jorgenson), Paul (Susan) and Jim (Jan); 9 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; sister, Marge (Lloyd) Mathews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Warren and Don Becken and great-grandson, Dominic.
