Jack Vondal Bedford Sr., 82, went to his heavenly home on September 19, 2015 in Denton, TX. He was born on December 17, 1932 in Springtown, TX to Roy Lee Bedford and Mattie Lou Garlan Bedford.

He married Barbara Love on February 21,1957 in Weatherford, TX.

He is preceeded in death by his parents; brother; Everett Bedford; and sister LaVerne Linville.

He is survived by his wife Barbara Bedford, sister Jo Bedford Sneed, son Jack Bedford Jr., daughters Tonie Bedford Morgan, Brenda Bedford Priest, ten grandchildren and eighteen great-grandchildren. Jack served in the U.S. Army from 1954 through 1956.

He retired from Huntsman Corporation in 1997 in Odessa, TX.

He loved sports, playing softball and golf until his body would not let him, but he still enjoyed watching the Rangers play as well as college and professional football.

Services will be at Mulkey-Mason Funeral Home on September 22, 2015 at 11am in Denton, TX with Pastor Bob Cook officiating. Visitation will be Tuesday September 22 at 10am. Burial will follow in Roselawn Memorial Park Denton, TX.
