FALL RIVER - Antone M. Camara, 89, of Riverview Towers, 301 Milliken Blvd. Fall River, died Saturday in Fall River at Catholic Memorial Home. He was the Husband of Doris M. (Moniz) Camara of Fall River. He is also survived by 2 Sons: John W. Camara of Candia, NH and Joseph M. Camara of Manchester, NH; 1 Brother: Edward Camara of Somerset, 2 Grandchildren and Several Nieces and Nephews. He was the Father of the late George A. Camara and the brother of the late Maria Camara, Olivia Arruda, Arthur and Joseph Camara.
Born in Fall River, the son of the late Joseph Camara and the late Virginia (Correia) Camara. He was a resident of Fall River for most of his life. Before retiring, he had worked as a Laborer for the Laborers Union, Local 610 of Fall River for over 50 years.
His funeral will take place from the Manuel Rogers & Sons Funeral Home, 1521 No. Main St., Fall River, MA followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. John of God Church, Brayton Ave. Somerset Interment in St. Patrick Cemetery, Fall River.
