Mrs. Lena DeBuhr
Mrs. Lena DeBuhr, age 27, wife of George J. DeBuhr, 87 Ricker street, died at 8:30 p.m. yesterday in St. Francis hospital of typhoid fever. Mrs. DeBuhr was taken ill on her way back from a visit in Chicago two weeks ago. Typhoid developed and she was taken to the hospital.
Decedent was born in Black Hawk county, near Gilbertville, March 17, 1885, and for the past 25 years had lived in Waterloo. Besides the husband, two children survive. They are Helen, age 15 and George, age 11.
The body was removed to the O’Keefe & Towne funeral home where it will remain until Thursday morning, preceding services at the home and Calvary Evangelical church at an hour not yet determined. Burial will be in Fairview.
