August Clayton Kilde, 60, Blackduck, died July 24, 1990 in the International Falls area.
He was born May 1, 1930 in Hornet Township near Blackduck to parents August and Bertha Kilde. He married Camilla Ronne June 29, 1951 at Ft. Francis, Ontairo, Canada. They lived there six months and then moved to Hornet Township. Later they were on the Iron Range several years and then returned to Hornet. Kilde was a muscician and played with the Kilde band.
Services were July 28, 1990 at the Evangelical Free Church, Blackduck, Interment was in Lakeview Cemetery.
He is survived by his wife, Camilla, Blackduck; three sons, Mike, Cass Lake, Clayton, Blackduck and Kerry, Hines; three daughters, Kathy (Mrs. Tim) Jackson, International Falls, Cheryl (Mrs. John) Berg, Anoka, and Debbie Kilde, Grand Rapids; two brothers, Alvern, Blackduck and Cloyd, Grand Rapids; three sisters, Darlene (Mr. Herb) Rockensock, Blackduck, Verna (Mrs. Roy) Nicholson, Spring Lake Park, and Jenny (Mrs. Henry) Hanson, Forrest Lake; and 17 grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by two brothers, Bill and Joe; three sisters Florence Kilde, Myrtle Lossing and Lucille Koch.
