2014 obituary. South Paris- Gerald R. Raymond, 68, of South Paris passed away on Thursday, January 30 at Market Square Health Care Center. He was born in Roxbury, MA. on September 3, 1945 the son of George C. and Evelyn Booth Raymond. He attended Oxford schools and served in the U. S. Army. He had been employed in the manufactured home industry. He enjoyed horseshoes, cribbage, reading, movies and working out at the gym. He was a fan of the Patriots, the Red Sox and NASCAR. He was predeceased by his parents; his uncle John Raymond; and his nephew Todd Smith. Funeral services will be held on Friday, February 7 at 4 p.m. at Chandler Funeral Homes & Cremation Service, 45 Main St., South Paris. Family and friends may attend visitation from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. prior to the service. Interment will be in the spring at Riverside Cemetery in Oxford.
