Peter L. O'Dellick, 80, of 4014 Second Ave., Altoona, died unexpectedly of a heart attack Sunday at his residence.

He was born in Altoona, son of the late Petro and Julia (Evanich) O'Dellick.

Surviving are a brother, Albert of Altoona; two sisters: Christine Teeter, with whom he resided, and Dorothy Roberto of Lakemont; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by four brothers: John, Frank, Joseph and Michael; and two sisters: Anna Claar and Mary Kephart.

Peter previously had worked for the Pennsylvania Railroad until his retirement on disability. He was a member of Faith Baptist Church, and he enjoyed fishing and wood crafts.

Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday, March 14, 2012, at The Stevens Mortuary Inc., 1421 Eighth Ave., Altoona (www.stevensmortuary.com). A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, March 15, 2012, at Stevens Memorial Chapel by the Rev. Dr. Gary G. Dull. Committal will be at St. Mary Ukrainian Cemetery, Altoona.
