It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our beloved wife, mother, sister and grandmother, Betty Ann Akins of Steele, who died on Friday, Sept. 18, 2015, at the age of 83.
Betty was the loving wife of William Love Akins for 60 plus years.
She is survived by four sons and three daughters, David Parson, Randy and Connie Akins, Ronald Akins, Valerie Carroll, Pamela Pitts, Diane and Tommy Carden and Rodney Akins; two sisters, May and Juanita; as well as 17 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren; not to mention the countless hearts of the people she touched along her way. She will be loved, missed and forever remembered.
Cremation service was provided by Morgan Funeral Chapel and Crematory.
