DOREEN GUTHRIE GORDON WYMAN 93, passed away peacefully on January 4, 2006. A native Californian of Scottish decent, she was born in Hanford, raised in Canyon, CA, lived and worked in Oakland and spent the last 40 years in San Leandro. She retired from Neldam's Bakery in Oakland. Devoted to her family and friends, she visited family extensively and traveled the Western States enjoying their natural beauty. The eldest of four sisters, she is lovingly survived by her daughter, Illa Smith; son, Kent Anderson, daughter-in-law, Elaine Anderson; half brothers, Robert and David Gordon, five grandchildren, eight great grandchildren, 1 great great grandchild and 10 nieces/ nephews and their families. She was predeseased by her husband, Ken Wyman and her son-in-law, Donald Smith. She was so very loved and will be remembered dearly. Friends and family are invited to attend a celebration of her life on Saturday, January 28, 12:00 noon, at Holy Cross Episcopal Church, 19179 Center Street, Castro Valley. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the American Cancer Society.
