Hugh married Alice Lee Hall on February 1, 1942. To this union one son was born, Bobby Hugh Hamilton. He was in the military service during WWII, stationed in England. He served from 1942 to 1945. He was a member of Calf Creek Free and Accepted Masons of Snowball, AR, and attended the First Christian Church of Marshall, AR. He retired from Searcy County Road Department. He was a heavy equipment operator and continued working well into his 80’s operating a bulldozer.

Hugh was preceded in death by his parents, his wife of 52 years, his son, one sister, Geneva Cantrell, one brother, Norman Hamilton.
Funeral services for Earl Hugh Hamilton are 2:00 PM Tuesday, September 22, 2015 at Roller-Coffman Chapel, with visitation beginning at 1:00 PM preceding the service. Bro Shirl Williams will be officiating. Burial will be in Marshall Memorial Gardens near Marshall, AR.
Family will be pallbearers.
