Rubin Clyde Griffin 97 was born February 13, 1918 in Mart, TX. To the home of John B Griffin and Mattie Welch Griffin and passed away at his home in Morse, La. August 14, 2015. Rubin is a veteran who served his country on the front lines during World War II, worked as a cowboy on a cattle ranch in central Texas and was a furnace operator for Cammeron Steel for over 30 years.. He is preceded in death by his wife Orvery Bell Griffin, his parents and 12 brothers and sisters. Left to cherish his memory are his son Raymond Griffin and his wife Darlene, grand children Raymond Eugene Griffin and his wife Tonya, Gretchen Downey and her husband Mark, Kasey McBain, 5 great grandchildren, other family members and many friends.
