Carl A. Benson of Warminster passed away on Tuesday, January 18, 2011, at his home. He was 82. He was the beloved husband of the late Betty G. Abbott Benson. Born in Greensburg, PA, he was the son of the late Carl A. Sr. and Elsie Kauffman Benson. He was the loving father of Diana Scott (Richard) of Warrington and William Benson (Beverly) of Warminster; he was the brother of Barry Benson of Florida; grandfather of two , Michelle Murphy (Pete) and Sarah Cooper (Quentin) and great grandfather of three, Abigail, Zachary and Dylan. Mr. Benson was a retired employee of Standard Press Steel Co. after many years of service. Relatives and friends are invited to attend his funeral service 11:00 a. m. Monday, January 24, at the Decker Funeral Home, 216 York Road, Warminster, where friends will be received after 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service. Interment will be in Pine Grove Memorial Park.
