He enjoyed woodcutting and going to auctions. Birdine preached for many years and held many revivals. He is preceded in death by his parents; wife; brothers, Ben Mincher, Johnny Mincher, Leonard Mincher, Odell Mincher, Franklin D. Mincher, and Virgil Mincher; sisters, Annie East and Jo Betty Mincher; and daughter, Burndean Mincher.
