Marian Louise Gnesda, 86, Stoystown, died Sept. 18, 2015 at home. Born January 11, 1929 in Jeannette, daughter of John and Florence (Hayden) Fait. Preceded in death by parents, and husband Richard E. Gnesda Sr. Survived by these children: Karen married to Rob Rembold, Lewisville, N.C.; Susan married to Robert Katkowski, Friedens; Dawn, Atlanta, Ga.; Richard E. Jr., Latrobe; John married to the former Lori Buscard, Stoystown; and James married to the former Susan Day, Granby, Conn.; nine grandchildren and four great grandchildren; and sister Constance Pardi, Greensburg. She was a 1947 graduate of Jeannette High School. Retired administrative secretary for Hempfield School District. Member of Horner Lutheran Church. She loved sewing, crocheting, and baking Christmas cookies and giving them to friends. A private service will be held at the convenience of the family. Rev. David Bowman officiating. Interment Horner-Mt. Tabor Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be given to Horner Lutheran Church, 415 Horner Church Rd., Stoystown, PA 15563.
