Barbara E. Bryce, 92, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, September 9, 2015, at her residence. She was preceded in death by her husband of close to 50 years, Edwin H. Bryce in 1999; her parents, Brantly and Magnolia Wright; and her brothers, Juan, Donald and James “Corky” Wright.
Survivors include her niece, Debbie Powell (Terry) of Hixson, TN; their daughter, Mandy Oliver (Dennis) of Hixson, TN; sister-in-law, Imogene Wright of Ft. Payne; niece, Teresa Musso of Ft. Payne; Teresa’s children, Jimmy (Kristin), Allison and Emily; cousin, Faye Sotherland of Cullman; and several other nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Mrs. Bryce retired from the US Army at Redstone Arsenal after a civil service career. She was a faithful member of St. Thomas Episcopal Church.
A visitation will be held at St. Thomas Episcopal Church, 12200 Bailey Cove Road SE, Huntsville, AL 35803, on Saturday, September 12, 2015 commencing at 10:00 AM. The funeral service, conducted by Rev. Paul Pradat will be at 11:00 AM at the Church with the entombment to immediately follow at Valhalla Memory Gardens. Barbara requested that any memorial donations be made to St. Thomas Episcopal Church or your favorite charity.
