Funeral services for Mr. Clarence Harvey Williamson, Sr., 77, of Bastrop, will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, March 4, 2011 at the chapel of Golden Funeral Home with the Rev. Eddie Rhymes and the Rev. Bill Fowler officiating. Interment will follow in Christ Church Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m. Thursday, March 3, 2011 at Golden Funeral Home. Mr. Williamson, a retiree of International Paper Company and deacon at Oak Hill Baptist Church, passed away Wednesday, March 2, 2011 at Glenwood Regional Medical Center. He was a United States Air Force veteran serving from 1954-1958. Mr. Williamson was also on the Board of Directors at Kraftman Federal Credit Union from 1979-1998. He was a loving father, husband and a fine Christian man.

He is preceded in death by his father, Bill Williamson; mother, Irma Carter; and step-father, Clifton P. Carter Jr.

Mr. Williamson is survived by his wife, Marolyn Lindeman Williamson; daughters, Patti Hankins and husband Mike of West Monroe, Karen Grayson and husband Gary of Bastrop, Donna Kostelka and husband Bill of Bossier City, Angela Thames and husband Stacey of Bastrop; son, Hap Williamson, Jr. of Bastrop; brothers, Lehman Williamson and wife Gayle of Baton Rouge, Clifton P. Carter III and wife Nancy of Salado, Texas; grandchildren, Jaimie Bowie and husband Jonathan, Michael Hankins, Jason Mann and wife Kimberly, Darren Mann, Chris Mann, William Grayson and wife Dana, Eve Stromer and husband Joel, Evan Kostelka and wife Caroline, Katie Kostelka, Matthew Williamson, Jeremy Aaron, Justin Aaron, Amber Harris, Crystal McKnight, Jacob Thames and wife Laura, Karrie Stanfill and husband Ryan and ten great grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be grandsons.
