Judy Bertling Carpenter, born December 14, 1948, the daughter of Ray and Linnie Bertling, passed away on Tuesday, September 15, 2015 in Dallas, Texas following a bout with cancer.

She is survived by her husband of 49 years, Jim B. Carpenter; her daughter and son-in-law Christie and Donnie Dobbins; her son and daughter-in-law, Brian and Amanda Carpenter; her granddaughter, Makenzie Carpenter; her grandson, Seth Carpenter; her sister and brother-in-law Gay and Bill Galey; her brother and sister-in-law Kenneth and Barbara Bertling; her sister, Laurie Long; her sister and brother-in-law, Cathy and Clarence Barker; her sister-in-law, Norma Frasier; her brother-in-law Bob Carpenter; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Ray and Linnie Bertling; her father and mother-in-law, Jim and Ruby Carpenter; her brother-in-law L.D. Long; her brother-in-law, Joe Frasier; her sister-in-law, Cleda Abbott; her brother-in-law, Dennis Abbott; her sister-in-law, Betty Carpenter.

She was a lifetime resident of Marble Falls, graduating from Marble Falls High School in 1967. She was an active member of Marble Falls Church of Christ, worked as a Farmer's Agent for 9 years and for 22 years worked alongside her husband who worked as an Insurance Adjuster. Her greatest and most rewarding job was mother, grandmother, and wife. She married the love of her life on December 17, 1965 and spent the next 49 years by his side as a partner in business and life.

She loved shopping, cooking and especially following her grandchildren; cheering them on as they competed in school and sporting events. She spent a wonderful life serving her Lord and loving her family.

Funeral service will be Monday, September 21, 2015 at 10 am at Marble Falls Church of Christ.
