Laurie F. Gray, 50, of Delbarton, WV, died Friday, October 21, 2011 at Cabell Huntington Hospital in Huntington, WV.

Born January 29, 1961 in Medina, Ohio, she was the daughter of "Don" Gray, of Hedgesville and the late Ruth Marie (Wilcox) Gray.

Laurie was the proud owner and operator of Country Corner Café where she fulfilled one of her greatest pleasures, feeding hungry people, for more than sixteen years. She served her customers with equal parts love and price. Fall and winter Sundays were filled with football and family fun. Even though many of her misguided friends chose to root for other teams, her loyalty never wavered from her beloved Cleveland Browns. For all the people that took the time to know Laurie for the beautiful soul that she truly was, the family wishes that you hold your fondest memories of her dear to your heart. She cherished her friends as dearly as her family and would surely wish that everyone remembers the good times and take comfort in the knowledge that she is watching over us from that great dog pound in heaven.

In addition to her father, she is survived by three daughters, Melinda Rose Williams-Adkins and husband, Brandon, of Logan, Kristin Jane Marie Dempsey and husband, Kris, of Delbarton, and Anna Jeane Moore and husband, Derek, of Delbarton; seven grandchildren, Kaileah AnnaMarie Williams, Laikyn Belle Adkins, Kiara Dawn Dempsey, Kaleb Dale Dempsey, Karly Marie Dempsey, Payton Annabella Moore and Rogan Pierce Moore; two sisters, Denise Jean Mursch and husband, Carl, of Hedgesville, and Patricia Ann Pyros and husband, Phil, of Medina, Ohio; one brother, Michael Richard Gray and wife, Shirl of Hedgesville. She is also survived by her fiancé Bradford Justice.

Graveside service was held at the convenience of family.
