Greg Cummings, age 53, of 21606 Manitowoc Rd. Reedsville, died Sunday evening, July 19, 2015 at his residence, surrounded by his family.

Greg was born in Grimms on March 27, 1962, son of Mary Ellen (Kiel) Cummings and the late Donald Cummings. He attended St. Patrick's Grade School in Maple Grove, Reedsville High School, and also a short course auctioneer school in the State of Iowa. At the age of 16, Greg took over the family farm in the town of Maple Grove where he owned & operated Cummings Farms & Custom Work for many years. For the past 17 years, he worked as manager of Equity Livestock Cooperative in Reedsville.

On July 17, 1982, he married Colleen Goehring at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Clarks Mills. Greg was a member of the Reedsville School Board for 12 years, having served as past president; he served on the board of the Manitowoc County Farm Bureau; and was a member of Wisconsin Tractor Pullers Association and the National Tractor Pullers Association. One of Greg's hobbies was collecting old antique toy tractors; He and Colleen enjoyed many years traveling together; camping; and spending time with their grandchildren. Greg will be greatly missed by his family and friends.

He is survived by his wife, Colleen; one son & daughter-in-law, Michael and Megan Cummings of Manitowoc; one daughter & son-in-law, Crystal and Nathan Schleis of Francis Creek; four grandsons, Maxen, Marcus, Devon, and Mason; and his mother, Mary Ellen Kiel of Grimms. He is further survived by two brothers and a sister-in-law, Patrick Cummings of Grimms, Jeffrey (Lorrie) Cummings of Rhinelander; one sister, Kelly (Sophia) Cummings of Kiel; half brother, R.J. (Erin) Mader of Reedsville; half sister, Becky LeBoeuf & fiance, Andy Van Domelen of Greenleaf; several brothers-in-law & sisters-in-law who include: Darlene (Mark) Kiesow, Valders, Christine (Bill) Wiegert, Green Bay, Janice (Rick) Bratz, New Holstein, Gail (Tom) Miller, Valders, and Gary Goehring of Clarks Mills; along with many nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles, other relatives and many friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, Donald Cummings; step-father, Robert Mader I; father-in-law & mother-in-law, Ed and Catherine Goehring; and a sister-in-law, Nancy Cummings.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, July 24, 2015 at Holy Family Parish, 1100 West Ryan St., Brillion. Officiating at the Mass of Christian Burial will be the Rev. Timothy Brandt, with burial to follow in St. Patrick's Cemetery, Maple Grove.

The family will greet relatives and friends at Holy Family Parish from 4:00 until 8:00 p.m. Thursday evening, July 23, 2015. A parish prayer service will be held at 7:30 p.m., led by Deacon Steve Letourneaux. Visitation will continue Friday morning at the church after 9:00 a.m. until the time of mass at 10:30 a.m.
