Ex-Educator's Ex-Educator's Ex-Educator's Wife Is Dead On North Side

Mrs. Emma Scott Temple, member of a North Side family of teachers and educators, died at 8:10 last night at St. Edward's Hospital in New Albany. A native of the Chapel Hill section of Floyd County, she had lived in Clark County for many years. Her home was on old State Road 62 between New Albany Albany and Jeffcrsonville. Survivors are her husband, Henry Temple, who taught in Jeffersonville schools more lhan 50 years; a son, Dr. Edgar W. Temple, New Albany dentist; two daughters, Mrs. Allen Blackburn, New Albany, and Mrs. Willis McAllister, Gary, Ind.; two brothers, Glenn V. Scott, former superintendent of Floyd County Schools, and Zenos Scott, former superintendent of Louisville public public schools, now both of New Albany; Albany; a sister, Mrs. Harry Pickens, New Albany, five grandchildren, grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren.
