Henry Agsten was born in Bethlehem, Pa. on July 30, 1910. He died in Napa on January 26, at the age of 93. He moved to San Diego in 1922 and settled in Normal Heights, and that was where he resided until 2002. He married Adela Leyva in 1934, and they were married for 64 years, until her passing in 1998.

Henry attended John Adams, Woodrow Wilson Junior High and in fact was the first graduate. He graduated from San Diego High and San Diego Business College where he met his wife, Adela.

He worked most of his adult life at Skateland Rollar Rink with his brother and retired from San Diego County in 1964.

Music was a great love in his life and he was an accomplished organist and a member of the Theatre Organ Association.

Surviving children are Tom Agsten of Descanso and Joan Smith of Napa Valley. There are five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
