mission to Brunswick, and crashed at Aloys
Meiman’s Farm, at Recke-Langenakker, Germany.

Two crew members were Killed In Action, and
eight survived and were taken as POW's.

Wilbert was killed on his 23rd mission of the war.

The other crew member lost was Staff Sgt. Vincent J Barbella.
