He retired from the Army and was a member of Bethany United Methodist Church, VFW Post 1181, and PRP Masonic Lodge.
He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Gertrud "Trudy" Ault; children, Deborah Ault, Robert and Susan Ault.
Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Tuesday, September 22, 2015 with a service to follow at 11 a.m. Burial will be held at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery in Radcliff, KY.
