Samuel David Mays, 53, of Poplar Bluff, Mo., passed away Wednesday, September 16, 2015 at the Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center.
Mr. Mays was born April 18, 1962 in Chicago, Ill. He was of the Baptist faith. He worked as a construction iron worker.
Survivors include his father, Jim Mays and step-mother, Mary Helen Mays; two sisters, Laurinda Parker and Vicky Mays, as well as one brother, Troy Mays.
He is preceded in death by a sister, Teresa Annelo and brother, Steven Mays.
Visitation will be held at 1 p.m., Saturday, September 19, 2015 at Fowler-Sullivan Funeral Home in Poplar Bluff. The funeral service will follow at 2 p.m. in the chapel. Burial will be held in the Poplar Bluff City Cemetery.
