Jarrel Justine Minnie, age 68, of Ola, AR died Thursday, November 14, at Yell County Nursing Home in Ola. He was born May 9, 1928 at Aplin to David and Etta Faye Edwards Minnie and was a member of the Ola Church of Christ.

He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother and a son.

Survivors include: his wife, Leacel Minnie; four sons, Gerald Wayne, Ronnie Allen and Charles David Minnie of Ola and Jerry Don Minnie of Nimrod; three daughters, Linda Sue Minnie Rose of Ola, Evie Lee Minnie Williams of Russellville and Eva Kay Minnie Short of Danville; three brothers, James David Minnie of Ola, Aubry Ray Minnie of Arkansas City, KS and Harold Dean Minnie of Plainview; two sisters, Imojean Morris of Danville and Bonnie Sue McCann of London; 13 grandchildren and five great grandchildren.

Funeral service was Monday at the Ola Church of Christ by Bob Fallen and Leslie VanWinkle. Burial was in the Needmoore Cemetery at Casa. Active pallbearers were: Lacy, Jessie, George, Frank and David Minnie and Doyle McCann. Honorary: Johnny Warren and Daniel Warren.
