Russell Caldwell age 53, passed away Saturday, June 8, 2013 at his home surrounded by family and friends. He was born June 10, 1960 in Pine Ridge, SD the son of the late Harrison and Jeanette Caldwell.
Russell lived in Pine Ridge, SD, Omaha, NE and the Wind River Indian Reservation. He attended the Arapahoe School and later attended the Kicking Horse Job Corp Center in Ronan, MT. He was married to Arliss Harlen. He worked as a heavy equipment operator, construction and farm work. He enjoyed his grandchildren and had two special granddaughters Russellina Ridgley and Angel Behan. He enjoyed movies, walking and being with family and friends.
He is survived by spouse; Arliss Harlen, daughtes; Donna and Almeda Caldwell, son; Rusty Caldwell, sisters; Myra (Augistine) Ridgley, Bernice Bluebird, Lena (Willie) Peters, Marlene Piper, Belva (Leon) Matthews, Jenny, Priscilla and Chamblis He Crow, Rose Oldman, Roberta Eagle and Susan and Vicky Sitting Eagle, brothers; Euwin Caldwell, Ora Little, Loren Durgin, Gary and Lance Oldman, Wilbur Antelope, Mervin Black, Phillip and Mike Piper and Bill Charging Sr., uncles; Scotty Brown Eyes and Lessert Moore, nieces; Veronica Spotted Elk, Juanita Broken Leg, Karry, Kelly and Kessa Peters and Jessica Redman, nephews; Selam and Clarence Behan, Joe and Bill Charging, Jesse and Justin Peters, Danny Peck, Jason and Jerome Piper, Garrett, Jarret, Isaac and Billy Bob Caldwell, 14 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.
