GRANT -- Funeral services for Colonel Frank A. Grant will be held from the Evans & Early mortuary chapel Wednesday at 3:30 p. m. The casket will be open prior to the services. Interment will follow in the family plot in Mount Olivet cemetery.

Funeral services for Colonel Frank A. Grant, 79, former Salt Lake City resident, who headed a battery of Utah volunteers to Manila in the Spanish-American war, were conducted Wednesday afternoon at the Evans & Early mortuary. Dr. Elmer I. Goshe, pastor of the First Congregation church, officiated.

Military honors were accorded at the graveside in Mount Olivet cemetery. The services were under the direction of Wasatch lodge No. 1, F. &. A. M.

Colonel Grant, whose military career during the Spanish-American war won him wide recognition, was retired as a colonel 10 years ago. He died Thursday at Orange, Conn.
