Stanley Sherman Bailey, 85, died Sept. 1, 2015 peacefully at his home in Cherryfield. He was born in Columbia Falls Jan. 28, 1930 the son of the late Guy and Mary (DeCosta) Bailey.

Following high school he proudly served his country in the U.S. Army. He worked for many years in the woods, and later as a sales agent for Saco Falls Realty. He was a member of Narraguagus Masonic Lodge #88 in Cherryfield, and a Noble of Anah Shrine in Bangor. He loved fishing and especially enjoyed spending time with family.

He is survived by a daughter Aaron Denbow, her husband Jamie and their three children Emma, Joshua, and Bailey; a
daughter-in-law Vickey Kipfer; and grandsons- Adam Bailey, Travis Smith, Sterling Nichols, and Norbert Tetrault. In addition to his parents he was predeceased by his two sons Jeffrey and Sterling Bailey, and a daughter Paula Smith.

Graveside services will be held 11 am Friday Sept. 18, 2015 at the Columbia Falls cemetery.
