WENDELL – Annie Ruth Riley, 90, died on Monday. A native of Wake County she was daughter to the late Charlie William & Hattie Walker Parrish. She was retired from Kemp Furniture after 35 years of service. She was a loving mother and grandmother who will always be remembered. She was preceded in death by her husband Dessie “Jack” Riley.
She is survived by her daughters, Patricia R. Patterson (Joe) of Wilson, Betty R. Harris of Mt. Olive, Linda R. Smith (Glenn) of Raleigh, six grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be to Baptist Tabernacle Church.
Funeral service 2 pm, Thursday Baptist Tabernacle Church with visitation from 1- 2 pm, prior to the service and other times at Linda & Glenn’s home. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
