MOULTRIE- Linda Marie Russell Stripling, 67, of Moultrie, died Saturday, September 12, 2015 from injuries received in an auto accident.
Graveside rites will be 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, September 15, 2015 at Hopewell Cemetery with the Rev. Julian Griner officiating, assisted by the Rev. Carl Felts.
Born July 10, 1948 in Moultrie, she was the daughter of the late Clifton Leo Russell and Nadine Tompkins Russell. She was a homemaker. “She enjoyed spending time with her family, dearly loved her grandchildren and was a wonderful cook.” her family remembered. “She was the best sister anyone could have,” her sister said. She was a member of Hopewell Baptist Church where she was the pianist and served on the Food Committee.
She was preceded in death by one sister, Maxine Russell.
