Susan "Sue" Bingham, age 62, of Shell Rock, died Monday, September 14, 2015, at Unity Point Allen Memorial Hospital in Waterloo.
Sue was born on December 5, 1952 in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, the daughter of Dorothy Mae Bailey. She was adopted by her grandparents and raised in Springville, Iowa where Sue graduated from the Springville High School in 1971.
In 1974, Sue was united in marriage to Michael Friedman at the Little Brown Church in Nashua, the couple would later divorce.
On June 17, 1995, Sue was united in marriage to John Bingham in Shell Rock, Iowa.
During her life Sue worked for Walmart, Eckers, and G & R Publishing all in Waverly, retiring in May of 2014.
Sue enjoyed camping, fishing, and golfing, however, what she enjoyed most was spending time with friends and family.
She was preceded in death by: Her grandparents, Charles and Irene Bailey, her parents, and her husband.
Graveside services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, September 16, at Riverside Cemetery in Shell Rock. Memorials may be directed to her family.
